MoleView plus
MoleView plus extends the features of MoleView with powerful mole mapping functionality for the long term management of your patients. Using patented non-contact Siascopy™ to scan and visualise up to 2mm under the skin, MoleView+ gives you the tools to locate, rank and map lesions on body areas such as the face or back and track changes over time.
MoleView+ includes a calibrated digital SLR camera with macro flash and polarising filter to capture non-contact Siascans. You are able to view either the clinical image or sub-surface information showing haemoglobin and melanin using either standard colourisation or SIA Display Cholorpleth (SDC) for easier identification.
MoleView plus allows you to map lesions on the captured area and link them to contact Siascans captured using the Siascope V. MoleView+ allows you to compare non-contact Siascans to detect new and changing lesions over time.
Non-contact Siascans captured using MoleView+ are stored in the patient management system built on the industry standard Microsoft SQL Server. Images can be recalled for future reference, included in a PDF report or exported in popular image formats.
Non-contact Siascopy uses a digital camera to capture cross-polarised images of a scene. A macro flash is used as a light source, providing light over the entire visible spectrum. The camera provides raw information of the imaging chips response to the light, which results in red, green and blue images being produced, each covering a different region of the visible spectrum. These images are then analysed in a similar way to contact Siascopy, producing non-contact Siascans which repressent the concentration of haemoglobin and melanin within the skin.
