MoleView

MoleView™ is the fully featured, specialist product in Biocompatibles' skin cancer range, designed for the dermatologist, plastic surgeon or skin cancer expert. MoleView assists in rapid and accurate diagnosis of pigmented lesions and provides a powerful tool for the management of patients within your skin screening clinic.

MoleView is the Dermatoscope Plus, giving you a high resolution dermatoscopic view with up to 40x magnification of the lesion and sub surface views with Siascopy™. Capture and analyse the dermatoscopic images with tools to zoom, rotate and measure the lesion. Retain images for future analysis and compare dermatoscopic views to detect changes over time.

MoleView uses Siascopy™, the only digital skin imaging technology to scan and visualise haemoglobin, melanin, dermal melanin and collagen (Siascans) up to 2mm under the skin. Siascopy provides you with a wealth of previously unavailable information to assist in making an instant clinical decision about a lesion during a patient consultation. MoleView includes a patient database, built on the industry standard Microsoft SQL Server 2005; this provides a secure, high performance and scalable database for your records as they grow. Patient details, Siascans and clinical images can all be stored and recalled for reference and analysis at any point.

Powerful diagnostics

MoleView incorporates powerful tools to assist you in the diagnosis of a lesion. Compare dermatoscopic and Siascopy views in parallel or overlay to detect sub-surface changes over time. 3D tools give you a unique insight in to the features of a lesion and can help with education when in consultation with the patient. Export scans in standard image formats or include them in a PDF report for referral or reference. MoleView also allows you to archive scans and patient information.

MoleView has several scoring systems built in, allowing you to evaluate the scan and get an indication as to its status. Now included in MoleView is the BCC View scoring system developed in conjunction with Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and Cambridge University Hospitals, Cambridge, UK.
